Some Poems don't rhyme

Now some Manchester united Fans have learnt, Not all poems do rhyme

Thank God my blog has not yet taken shape of what I should write about.Though for a while, I'm enjoying the luxury of "All trade".This may sound like a football or Arsenal Vs Manchester united, Its more than that.

Three days earlier, I shared a story of “The goat and the chicken” with some manchester united fans. They had joined together to remind me how good is 'their' team and how hard they will hit us (Arsenal) on Sunday dated 4th october

For sure, Any arsenal or manchester fan can’t easily forget what came to happen, arsenal starting with great power and making things bad for their ‘rivals’ within the first 20minutes of the game. It was a great way to start the month of  October.

A story is told of a man who invited some guests to his house the next day,and his servants prepared to kill the goat and make dinner for the guests.

When the chicken heard what was going on, it went to the goat and said, Goat, this is going to be your last night, Tomorrow you are going to be killed, cooked, and eaten” The chicken made a quite scene of it and then went to sleep with complete peace of mind, dreaming about goat being cooked. Meanwhile, the goat could not sleep all night and having nightmares of people killing him.

The next day, Most the guest excused themselves , and the man had no reason to kill the goat.He said to the servants, “Go get the chicken, and we’ll make a good curry.” When the goat heard this, it smiled at the chicken in relief, while the chicken was terrified.

This 'harsh' tale was to teach them the great moral to never be 100 per cent sure of whats next- some old adage say never count your eggs before they are hatch. Not every thing in life will turn the way you want or expect.

For sure, Any arsenal or manchester fan can’t easily forget what came to happen, arsenal starting with great power and making things bad for their ‘rivals’ within the first 20minutes of the game. With a scoreline of 3-0 in favor of the home team, I am the last person manchester fans want to meet this week mostly after my story. But let our team remember, that win doesn't mean everything, if they don't keep working hard and producing good results. We have long and tough times ahead bearing in mind our last two performance (Uefa championship) group match

For me it was double win, Making a debut for a 'strange' team and  scoring a brace to help them win 6-0 was fantastic.I went home feeling a "Aguero"

As I pen down, I don’t want to forget that Brendan Rodgers is no longer the manager for liverpool. Unfortunately in the world of football, We punish the ‘Teacher for student’s mistakes.’ I wish him the best of luck in the future.

Hope you are enjoying the week so far and thanks for learning with me.

Good luck in everything.

The Power of Willing Hearts And The Spirit of Harambee

We all recall, the big legendary names; of people who chose to pay the demanding price, not from their own demands but for the deficient and feeble ones. From resources to self-sacrifice; all in the name of salvaging the needy and laying platforms to a better nation or world as every soul would wish for. What defines a legend??? It may be a question with many pronunciations...to some people who hailed special and extra-ordinal hearts....perhaps little good gods.

Have you read about these great men and women...?? or else have you heard of them and their extreme passion for what they believed in?? If not, take some time online or other archives. The likes of Professor Wangari Maathai who believed in environmental conservation, Nelson Mandela who fought through resilience...fighting for the rights of poor through unity and love for all, the Henry Jean Dunant; founder of the world's largest humanitarian organization...Red Cross aiming to alleviate suffering of the underprivileged, Bloomberg; former New York Mayor currently supporting the fight against Road Crash Deaths in LMICs through funding, Dr.  Griffins the father of Starehe Boys Centre among other dignified people whose lives left marks behind. It takes heart, it takes great devotion ...it takes self sacrifice for the sake of others. Starting with an icon of hope...and slowly beckoning great shift of aspects through positive initiatives they tired not pushing and pushing, until their desired change is realized. Of course not after a day but a good time worth reward...even Rome was not built in a day. This could the difference between what pushed them and our lazy souls, spirits and bodies. For many sing change...preach change, but the irony of it all that they are never part of change, neither do they participate in cultivating change. These are the most dangerous kind of people any particular country would wish to have...had it been optional.

The great former Kenyan president; Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi sang the song of "ukikata mmoja panda miwili" a slogan that had fought quench for good climate and environment by planting two trees whenever one cut a single trees. It was a voluntary call and could we have heeded. Many Salutes to the few that took up the initiative of tree planting that Prof. Wangari Maathai campaigned and fought for for many years. It was a worthy sacrifice as denoted by the Nobel Peace Prize presenters. Hardly did she know that her efforts would roar the whole world for decades. Going green through the green belt movement and other environmental friendly practices had always been the tone of her tongue, heart and hands. May Lord salvage her heroic soul to eternity. Long live the green nature ideologies; for the world and country owes her a lot. A long-time due though her soul lied cold on her eternal bed.

You sing of that neighbour who paid school fees for your child. That philanthropist who funded a health facility to your ailing community...the young man who led others in clearing heaps of garbage at your estate???? But where do you put your defination..???  It’s not superstitious, it not supernatural...it takes a positive willing heart. When this is found, change is never far. It is no longer impossible. Not to the few, but to anyone who believes in change.

Thank You Arsenal

Hello Friends

I know thank you note has become a lost art form or old fashioned.but I have chosen to spend some few minutes to write to this old friend,Arsenal FC

As I write this my heart is still pumping hard after our performance at Wembley, Beating Aston villa and,on top of that, winning the FA Cup Championship when all our rivals were eagerly waiting for our downfall,Clinched to their seats and their screens,Fingers crossed that AV will take the day,but to the opposite,it just stretched our good moment

Am not only happy because we won a title,Its much of what our team is growing to, quality,Cohesion, aggressiveness and the will to do better in every match, that alone give any Arsenal fan a reason to show more love and commitment to our club

It has been a run of desperate seasons, years of mockery and humiliation,But we faced it and at least we are changing the streak. The chicken has taken the knife, retaining the FA Cup with a fine 4-0 victory feels a point towards our bright future and the gone years

Perhaps,I should also say, My best player made the day look easy and awesome..Ozil, I thank you for believing in my policy "Football is easy when played easily" Thank you.

I also watched my second born football team win the Copa del rey. Seeing Messi score a wonder goal and at the same time making it 58 goals in 56  matches..its now clear that you are in your own world.Well done Lionel

The only dark cloud came with the news about the ktn show #ThePresenter.I was all sure Abuller was the right candidate and the screen's favorite.only to receive the news that he was not the best..since then,I haven't commented and I wont comment on that..but to Abuller, you opened the door.."Unazo funguo za kuingia kwenye umaarufu"

Thanks to all and I hope we will keep the positive face we have shown.Have a blessed week, Friends

Don't Vote us for Groove..Just share a verse

By now you must be aware of the relationship I have with Vaines and Yvonne. It started one year ago and we had no idea of what it will grow to. We tried to keep it low but none of us have an idea how it became public.

We were colleagues, It transformed to friendship, then brother and sisters(No catalyst used). We have acquired a title "Creative team".We are grateful and thankful (If its allowed to use the two adjectives at the same time)

We have now acquired a new title "Friends of Christ".For last  one or two months, we have been
reciting bible versus every day in the morning as a way of getting close to the lord.A challenge started by Vaines Jedilia.

But today we forgot, We blame it to Yvonne who welcomed us into the office with packets of fries. She later told us to try the Charlie Charlie Challenge. A game that involves placing two pencils on a piece of paper in the shape of a cross, before writing the words yes and no inside the four squares formed by the pencils. Participants must then repeat the words ''Charlie,Charlie are you here'' to summon a visit from a demon(Which we realised after a few rials). If the pencil moves and points to yes, Charlie is in the house and you can draw upon his demonic life experience and ask him for guidance in the form of yes or no question. Good lord. The pencil didn't move any side and we declared ourselves saved and Children's of God

Its then that we realized we haven't done our "Verse of the day" challenge,I proposed we record each and every person reciting and they bought the idea. We present the video to you not for ' Groove Awards voting" but to feed you soul with a word of God...  Watch us here  https://youtu.be/iNhGBLDRtjA

22 Ways To Survive In Case Of A Terror Attack In Kenya- SHARE THIS WITH YOUR FRIENDS TO KEEP THEM SAFE

Mr. Gamadhere, the suspected architect of terrorism attacks in Kenya.
Is there something we can do to save our lives incase we find ourselves in a terror setup?
We have seen an upsurge in violent terrorist attacks, in Kenya we have lost parents, friends, sons and daughters of this nation, We aren't sure of when and where they(Terrorist) will attack next, But how should we behave when they find us on their scene?

I have dug and found this article from Edit International, Titled "How to save yourself and others". I found necessary to share with you, Maybe or should i say probably, We can survive.

How To Survive Terror Attacks in Kenya

Tip 1

Suicide bombings have proven to be an effective terror method and will soon spread to the rest of the world say experts. Be aware of people wearing jackets in warm weather or with strange bulges.

Tip 2

Hijackers kill hostages to terrify the other passengers into submission. If your loved one is taken hostage their best chance of surviving is for you to fight back.

Tip 3

A simple pen can be used as a weapon to gouge a hijackers eyes and it is a weapon that easily gets through the X-ray.

Tip 4

A rolled newspaper becomes a wooden log that can do terrible damage to a hijacker's throat or face.

Tip 5

An airline blanket can be used to grapple and restrain a terrorist and to keep you from being stabbed.

Tip 6

The key to stopping a suicide bomber is knowing which kind of detonator he is using and controlling his hand accordingly.

Tip 7

Use the blanket to blind the hijacker as he goes by in the aisle then knee him in the spine and take him down.

Tip 8

A hardcover book can do severe damage to vulnerable spots of the human body.

Tip 9

Be prepared to use a gun dropped by an injured Air Marshall - you don't want another weapon in the hands of the hijackers.

Tip 10

The belt you normally wear can be used as a lethal weapon. Always look for the weapon at hand.

Tip 11

A blanket rolled on your arm can be used to deflect knife slashes.

Tip 12

A blanket can be used to blind the attacker.

Tip 13

An unopened soda can thrown at a terrorist can stone the attacker to death.

Tip 14

A pen can be absolutely lethal if stabbed into the throat or eyes.

Tip 15

Women can use a purse to club the hijacker into unconsciousness.

Tip 16

If confronting a knife wielding hijacker or terrorist, put a newspaper in your shirt to act as armour against stabbing attacks.

Tip 17

The key to stopping a suicide bomber is knowing which kind of detonator he is using and controlling his hand accordingly.

Tip 18

Look for odd behaviour amongst others. If someone is jumpy for no reason and sweating profusely, make sure to tell the authorities, they could be a terrorist.

Tip 19

Be wary of people wearing raincoats when it is not raining. They may conceal bombs.

Tip 20

If you see an unattended suitcase or briefcase, immediately get up and then call the restaurant and police from a pay phone. Don't take the time to tell someone there, you may only have seconds to escape with your life.

Tip 21

One way to survive a terrorist suicide bomber is to try to contain the explosion beneath him. You will probably be thrown in the air and break ribs but you have a chance of living and saving the people around you.

Tip 22

If you know a bomb is going to go off, lie down with your feet facing the explosive. This makes you a six inch box instead of a six foot tall target. Even if you lose your feet you will probably live. Standing in the face of an explosion is deadly. The shrapnel has many opportunities to pierce your vital organs.

Hope you've learnt something new today...let these terrorists also learn a lesson and keep their cool back in Somalia.

Garissa Attack..Letter to God

This is one of those days when writing is a bit complicated, Following the devastating news of Alshabaab storming in Garissa university college and taking hostage of our beloved students.

At least 15 have been reported dead and over 65 were hospitalised from the attack. 550 people are uncounted for  at the campus that had about 815 students

Dear God

The enemy has already declared himself, He has even warned us that we will be surprised when we realised the number of the student killed inside the hostels..to be sincere, We are worried.

On my part, No matter how strong I want to be strong, I must admit its getting me down. Every time this terrorist injure my fellow country men and women, My heart is injured. Every time they attack and kill my fellow citizen and people of my spirit, My spirit die. I feel been pain, Which kills me little by little

I have never known what their objective have been, But when their bomb the civilians, when our innocent are held hostage ,when we are hijacked and killed defencelessly, we are lost and left of fear. We feel slaves
We feel the enemy is taking over,
The enemy is slowly winning

And all we can ask is you to take Charge like you used to do in the days of Moses..Punish those who fight us, Protect us lord

Just all I can write for now

Peace be with us
